In the beginning , the edit of the hand connecting seemleasly to another hand, to another hand… is lovely. Connecting all the people together in the experience . It’s like a ballet . The Reed in water scenes with the two men, I’m obsessed with the king haired, bearded man. He’s gorgeous, but in a almost biblical way. The scene in the water that’s so blown out , like creamy water . It’s dreamy. And f course , your signature shots of frolicking that seem super 8 or 16. Those make me cry because of the nostalgic innocence and joy. Reminds me of my time in Greece in the 80s , with so many friends who are no longer with us. It’s melancholy and joyous . Makes me happy that I have memories just like that. And the dancers at the end. Exquisite ending. Elegant . The music choices are spot -on. And the sound design … Im crazy for .
What a gorgeous film in so many ways . For me , it’s very emotional . Water is where we come from. It’s the where we are happy and feel at home . At least for me . The sounds, the sparkles , the edges of brilliant shining light outlining bodies . The underwater scene … maybe my favorite . Have always fancied myself a fish, more of a porpoise , and seeing bodies okay together underwater is beautiful.

Este filme é uma bonita reflexão sobre a pureza, a beleza natural dos corpos, o homem e seu habitat natural, sem artificios ou acrescentos.
Fez-me pensar sobre o quão estamos envolvidos pelo desenvolvimento e nos esquecemos do mais orgânico e natural que há em nós. De que forma hoje olhamos para o corpo masculino. A escolha dos atores foi excelente porque são corpos sem os filtros de hoje em dia. Quão belo é ver estes corpos (lindos, por sinal) em contacto direto com a água, a terra, o verde…? Sem barreiras. Tudo sobre o natural que é deixar o nosso corpo sentir o meio que nos rodeia. Tal como sempre foi e devia ser hoje. Realmente fez-me refletir sobre o lugar para onde migramos e a forma como isso nos afastou no nosso habitar natural ao ponto de hoje, um corpo nu numa praia não ser o mais normal.
Não há partes secretas no corpo de um homem. Somos frutos de uma natureza que nos desenhou sem proteções e neste filme encontramos a prova. O corpo masculino pertence ao seu meio.
