THE PEOPLE BEHIND ANTONIO DA SILVA FILMS
Antonio Da Silva Films has grown through collaborations with a diverse community of people interested in creating artistic films and photography exploring the diversity of male sexuality.
Drawing on Antonio Da Silva’s background in visual art and performance, the project has brought together dancers, artists, performers, filmmakers, photographers, musicians, content creators, friends, and viewers from around the world.
Many collaborators first discovered the project online and later became part of it themselves. Some have remained involved for more than a decade, developing long-term creative relationships and contributing their own experiences, ideas, inspirations, and perspectives.
The project includes both non-professional participants and experienced performers and independent content creators. Together, they bring different backgrounds, bodies, personalities, and experiences to the work.
Diversity, individuality, spontaneity, and the personality of each participant are central to the creative process. The intention is not simply to create a collection of conventionally attractive bodies, but to make work that reflects the individuality and presence of the people involved.
All participants are 21 years of age or older.
